tuesday... feels like monday

I don't know why but I am having the worst time trying to get my ideas out onto paper and into fabric. "Tomorrow will be different" is what I keep telling myself but there have been far over one hundred such promises made to myself. I finally have some free hours to really work and now I can't get going. Late this afternoon presented the perfect time slot for some good hard work but after an hour or so of sketching I fell asleep - really asleep! And it was after 8pm when I awoke. Something must change!!!

I just discovered your site today and can tell that it is going to be quite lovely once you get going. You must have needed the rest! Be gentle with yourself, so much of creativity is about the process...eventually things will just click for you and ta da! You'll feel better. I love Dolly Lolly and Mary Ruth made me smile.

I am new to your site also. Can't remember how I found it! But, I agree, it looks like it should prove to be a fun place to visit! I'm thinking that my daughter would like it also, so I will show her your little cutie-pies that you create tomorrow!
