bumblings?
Just look at what flew out of my linen cupboard today!
I'm not certain what she is or where she came from but now that she's escaped from the cabinet she's flitting all about the house! Things keep appearing in the strangest places - not at all where I left them. And there are a few chocolates missing too! I'm a little worried about where she will sleep tonight so I'll leave the linen closet open for her.
I can't identify her with any of the usual reference books.... do you think I should I call an entymologist or a psychologist?
Oh... there she goes again.... it's too dark to see her very well but it looks like she has a little friend with her! My goodness! I wonder what else is hiding in the cupboards...
Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get a better photo of these two . It's been raining all day so the light is a bit gloomy for capturing funny little bumblings on film. I had to try though so you could see them too!
If anyone knows what they are please let me know!
~~~~~~~~
I think they may be a rare breed of bumblebear and they like to eat stardust and honey.
So sweet Lulu!
Bumbling indeed! I would love to see some in our cupboards too... Do they migrate? Stardust and Honey, yes... and I will be sure that there is a spider-web hammock with edierdown of goosling feathers - just in case she wants to take a nap...
Oh Lulu, a little flight of fancy this creature...so charming and whimisical. It apparently knows a kindred soul when it sees one ... no wonder it has decided to make a home with you!
I think Sweet Pea has it right - she must be a Bumblebear! The bit about the chocolate gave it all away. I'll bet she was hoping she'd find a Violet Crumble somewhere. :) I've heard that they love to "help" tidy up but get distracted part way through and leave things in a horrible muddle, although with the best of intentions, of course. Having a Bumblebear take up residence in your home is a sign that you are truly special, indeed, for they thrive on kindness and creativity. This little one found the perfect spot for both!
That kind of cuteness makes me want to squeak! Amazing! And a whole linen cloest to snuggle into. Bymblebear won't be leaving anytime soon, I'll bet!
What an adorable critter. Even if she is a pest, you must make sure she stays with you--which I'm sure she will. Who could ever leave your house once found? Hope she lets you sleep tonight!
