I hope you didn't think I had forgotten about you - such wonderful spirits are never really far away.
Life has just been a little too hectic lately and my thoughts very unorganized. I hope you will forgive me my long unexplained absence. I just needed to recenter. At least I hope that will do it!
Bless you all for your sweet thoughts!

Oh, I'm so happy you took time to say hello! I've been missing your sweet self. This work of yours Lulu is so, so wonderful! The little boat reminds me of all of my favorite blue and white dishes!

Ooooh, just gorgeous. I really like your favorite palette of colors that you use - the aquas and that beautiful reddish orange!

Lulu, I must admit I was a little worried about you, but I am happy to hear you are well. This new painting is, as usual, truly delightful!!! The dish inspired boat - what an inspiration! and those little fish, like jewels in the sea. Does she have a story that goes with her??? You are going to have to figure out how to publish your work soon, or I am going to come and knock your door down, trying to obtain some!!! Lulu, you are soooo talented!!!

This is so delicate and lovely - if you ever teach a class on how to get such beautiful washes, I'm there!
Glad to have you back Lulu! And as Ulla said, it would be fantastic to see your work published.
Have you ever tried Barefoot Books or North South books?

How beautiful! I love the bright little fish, the blue & white boat and espcially all of the little whimsical touches. Could that little dragon on the mast be any cuter? It makes me want to lean in close to see every detail and hear the story of the picture. Very lovely!

Yippee! lulu's popped in to share some work! And it's just as lovely as ever. I was just about ready to send out the rescue teams. I thought it seemed as if you were needing some time. I hope you took as much as you needed, and I am so happy that we get to view more of your gorgeous work. I too love this color combination you used. You have a knack for mixing the cool colors with the warm. Just beautiful!
Hugs to you lulu!!

My goodness, this is simply beautiful. From the bubbles to the boat, it is well planned.

I clicked on the link to your site ever so tentatively, for fear it would say 03 April and then I would be even more worried. Not meaning to fill you with expectations, just missing you. So glad you are back and with another stellar picture to drink in. Beautiful, beautiful.

When one wants to paint an apple one uses an apple for a model, when one wants to paint still life one sets the scene and micmics what their eyes see and their mind calculates. Your dream like reality plays songs where there is no image to guide you, how do your paint a sweet mouse with a bow on her tail? Your heart must have eyes! The collection you have of delicate characters that know how to come into being without having a model astounds me! The songs you must have within your soul to create such sweetness!
This painting...a dish for a boat! A face on a sweet fish, water clear enough one doesn't see the difference between the real and unreal...captured on the ebb an flow of tender feelings...
Am I to beleive you are not published???WHAT, Why? You are a legend in our time.

LB,
I am glad to hear from you, I must admit I was concerned. I understand about life and how it can be understandably hectic. Take a deep breath and scream out loud:)
