ocean-garden salt
Una loved her island. When she grew hungry she went to the sea, sighed, and dipped her delicate fingers in the water. The ocean answered, "Take these shells. I have washed them clean and filled them with my ocean-garden salt." Una ate the salt, white and shining. Days passed and she grew flowers in her hair.
from Una, a Love Story

Thats such a magical picture, wonderful.

Ethereal and lovely Lulu. The way you've captured the light makes me feel as if I'm within your world, rather than just looking at it...Thank you for sharing it with us.

You have such a way with using subtle tones and colors. Each painting I see from you is a masterpiece, very beautiful and quite delicate. I hope that one day I will be able to purchase your work in a bookstore, so I can say I know her.

When I saw your beautiful sweet painting it reminding me of a post I did on my daughter Chelsea...if you say her name backwards it is Seashell...When I wrote this post I took a photo of a salt holder I have made out of seashells.
I like the look on this girl's face! It is as if she is eating chocolate! Divine, you are dear lulu!!

Your artwork is absolutely enchanting. As I told Mrs. Staggs in regards to List Friday, the only profession that I can come up with (other than my current profession) that I could imagine is being an illustrator of children's books, in the style that you so beautifully use. ("Imagine" being a key word here, since I have no talent whatsoever!)
