This sweet little pair appeared while I wasn't able to do much physical work.  Thankfully the RA has so far for the most part spared my hands.  If I couldn't use my hands I think I would go mad!  It takes a few  moments to get them moving but after that they're fine most of the time.

Twig (4-1/2 inches), Dot, dress and cushion were sewn entirely by hand between naps on the sewing room's sofa.  Hope you like them!

I'm working on a new pattern design right now so there will be a new little face to share with you soon.

an update

It was so nice to hear from everyone!  I was astonished that anyone was still checking in since it had been soooo long since I'd posted anything.  The little yarn shop has been open for a few months now and I've met many very nice people but...  in mid November I became  quite ill  - an unusual pain throughout my body, fever; my feet hurt so much that I could do little more than hobble until finally getting everything moving again. The most recent diagnosis is rheumatoid arthritis.  It's been a little less aggressive for the last two weeks but it's really taken away my ability to work at my usual pace ... and it's a struggle to maintain much enthusiasum for my little shop.  I'm torn as to what to do.  I could try to sell the shop, or liquidate the inventory, or try to see it through a little longer in hope of a change.   You were so nice to support my so during my decision to open the store  here are a few photos of  the main room in the shop.  There are two additional small rooms -  one with baby patterns yarns and all  needles and tools and the second room with a very good selection of Brown  Sheep colours,  adult patterns, novelty yarns  and misc.  fibers.

The last few months have been so difficult but I don't think there has been a single day when I haven't thought of each and every one of the special souls that have come into my life through this little blog.  So even though I haven't been posting I have known that you are still here with me.  Your many kind words of encouragement have given me strength to persevere during the last few months  ~~Thank you from the bottom of my heart.~~
